Mark Linkous est mort. Il n’y aurait plus d’albums de Sparklehorse alors ? Un vide...

Et puis un besoin. Et puis un projet : "i wish i had a horse's head", 19 titres repris par les artistes qu’on croise, qu’on aime, qu’on défend, et pour lesquels, à un moment ou à un autre, la musique de Linkous a pu apporter beaucoup, c’est ce que l'on a trouvé de mieux pour lui rendre hommage, enfin, en tout cas, faire quelque chose pour peut-être combler un bout de ce vide.

Merci à tous pour la mobilisation, merci à SparkleHorse pour l’inspiration. We’re all so sick of good byes.

Mark Linkous is dead. No more albums by Sparklehorse, then? I simply felt a void.

Then a need. Then an idea : "i wish i had a horse's head", 19 bands and artists we like and support covered, 19 Sparklehorse tracks. The songs of Mark Linkous meant something important to all of them, at some point. Call it a tribute, or at least something to try and fill the void.

Thanks to all people involved, thank you Sparklehorse for the inspiration. We're all so sick of good byes.
